So, my name is Demi and I have worked in the hospitality sector for many years now. I have gone from being a pot washer to waitress, bar staff to bar supervisor, receptionist to duty manager and even ran a small hotel single handedly!

During my time as a manager, I found my passion and love for weddings and events! I was able to train to become masters of ceremonies for weddings and able to lead my team running up to and on the day of weddings and events. As much as I LOVED this, it made me realise that I want to be involved more!

A wedding and events co-ordinator

That’s why I finally decided to take the leap and set up ‘Your Dream Wedding and Events’

I decided I wanted to work alongside the clients and be a part of the planning process but still be able to be with the amazing clients on their big day, which took me on my next journey to become a wedding and events co-ordinator at a venue! Meaning I became very familiar with weddings and events of all sizes!

Fast forward a year and I became a mother to a beautiful premature baby boy, who is happy, healthy and thriving! I became a Fiancée (So yes, I am also planning my own wedding too!) and a dog mum to a crazy but beautiful cockapoo! When my Maternity leave came to an end, I soon realised that whilst my son was this young, returning to work for a venue was pointless as with the strict working hours it would mean me spending far too much time away from my son and missing out on some major milestones!

That’s why I finally decided to take the leap and set up ‘Your Dream Wedding and Events’ Meaning I can spend time with my family and still be able to follow the passion I have and work with clients to help their dream wedding or event become a reality.
